Finishing Touches:

Now that the Heirloom team has insured that all is level and square, the final process of installing the stress-skin panels begins. This process involves sealing the frame from our harsh climate making it an energy efficient structure.

Last inspection of the Frame Stress-Skin Panels are delivered The Frame is ready

1.   All panels are pre-ordered and ready to install once the frame is up.

Covering the Frame

2.   We start by installing the wall panels, which are fastened on the exterior of the frame with long spikes.

Cutting Doors and Windows

3.   The panels are joined together by wooden splines, which are screwed together. Then holes are drilled along the seams to which foam is injected to seal the panels.

Covering the Roof

4.   The roof is done in the same manner. However, if the client prefers a wood ceiling then tongue & groove boards are installed first. The panels will then be installed over the wood ceiling.
